Jason and Heather McDaniel met over a love for Jesus, His church and His renewal mission during their high school years in Kinston, NC. Jason graduated in 2004 from UNC Chapel Hill and in 2012 with his M.Div. from Regent University. Heather graduated from Meredith College in 2004.
They were married two weeks after graduating from undergrad and spent the next 14 years primarily at UNC Chapel Hill reaching college students with the gospel and training them as cultural missionaries to their generation. The McDaniels completed a season of church planting residency with the Summit Church (Durham, NC) and Grace Fellowship Church (Kinston, NC) in 2019. Jason and Heather are now eager to join God in His work of transforming Durham, NC and the surrounding area with the good news of Jesus Christ through a new church plant.
In their downtime they enjoy excersing, going out on dates, time with friends and playing in the backyard with their 5 kids and dog, Bristol. Their children are Caden (14), Alexa (13), Gavin (11), Gage (9) and Elias (7).
